Life is stressful...Even those of us who are happy, still experience stress.

Stress manifests in many forms...a mild headache, fatigue, irritability, lack of concentration, poor memory, confusion, low self worth, anxiety, depression,high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes.....etc.

All of these problems and many more can be dealt with in the yoga room.....

DO YOU HAVE ACHES AND PAINS?
The bulk of a yoga class is a series of stretches. Some sitting, some standing.
Are you bent over a desk all day or slouched in front of a PC? This will create stiffness in the neck and back. Do you come home from work and feel like a shoulder rub?...Skip the shoulder rub and come to a yoga class....With a couple of good stretches accompanied by deep relaxation breathing your tight muscles will soften and lengthen. If the stiffness is not address the spine will become restricted affecting the entire body....potentially causing:DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS, REPRODUCTIVE PROBLEMS, HORMONAL PROBLEMS,RESPIRATION PROBLEMS, CIRCULATION PROBLEMS AND GENERAL LACK OF HEALTH.

BENEFITS OF PILATES
My pilates classes are designed for two types of student.
The first being the student who has a bad back....with regular remedial pilates I can strengthen your core muscles, so that they actually support your weakened spine.
After a couple of months of regular remedial classes your back pain can be a distant memory .
The second type of student is the student who just wants to get fit and perhaps loose weight.Once you master the simple exercises I can give you a specific workout so as to maximise burning of calories.
